Sovereign Place Town Centre and Hit Mid North Coast are joining forces to bring the community together this Christmas with the very first virtual choir on the Mid North Coast.
Hit’s Christmas Chorus campaign launches on Monday the 30th November, running for two weeks with the official ‘virtual choir’ video being released on Friday the 18th of December to the Hit Mid North Coast Facebook Page.
We know that Christmas is going to look a little different this year and sadly our parks are not going to be filled with Christmas carols, glow sticks and sparklers like they usually would! The aim of this campaign is to increase joy across the Mid North Coast and create a sense of normality and community during an uneasy time.
We are encouraging schools, businesses, families and friends to head to www.Hit.com.au/midnorthcoast/win from 30 November to learn how to join in Hit’s Christmas Chorus for your chance to win. At our website you will find the song ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’, a set of lyrics and a ‘how to’ guide to help you film the perfect video! The footage submitted by our entrants will be compiled into one awesome video of the Mid North Coast singing ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ (a virtual choir).
Sovereign Place Town Centre’s Jessica Good encouraged people of all ages to send in a video clip of them singing along to the backing track, adding there’s a $500 incentive up for grabs.
“Christmas Chorus is an opportunity for school students, community choirs and all individuals to take part in some festive fun. One lucky entrant will win $500 in Sovereign Place gift vouchers to spend with our amazing local businesses this Christmas.
“Whether you’re a baritone butcher, a student soprano or just enjoy singing for the fun of it, dust off your vocal chords, don your Santa hats and get into the Christmas spirit.”
