About Lewis Land

Founded by Bernard Lewis in 1957, the company is a prolific land developer having created almost 15,000 residential allotments along Australia’s eastern seaboard and major projects in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. The company also has an unmatched wealth of expertise in waterfront residential development.

Recent years have seen the development of Sovereign and Ephraim Islands on the northern end of the Gold Coast, plus diversification into the retail, hospitality and leisure, and commercial sectors.

In 1999, Lewis Land opened Australia’s first purpose-built outlet shopping centre Harbour Town Gold Coast and went on to develop the Harbour Town brand in Adelaide.

The vision for the Sovereign Hills master planned community includes a series of vibrant and thoughtfully considered residential precincts consisting of up to 2,000 homes interspersed with open parkland, supported by a magnificent town centre.
