Sovereign Hills is excited to unveil our community’s new street library designs.
St Joseph’s Regional College, Discover Early Education and Care Centre, and Smartland Early Learning were presented with four blank canvases and a brief to let their imagination run wild.
The designs have been inspired by country, indigenous totems and the children’s favourite story books. We could not be more thrilled and grateful for their creativity and hard work.
Street libraries are a wonderful way to encourage ‘community’. When people take a book and leave a book, they create a cycle of generosity that allows them to share what they love with those around them. By participating in the Street Library movement, you too can help encourage reading and encourage sharing.
All we need now is to confirm their new homes.
We are looking for homeowners willing to host one in front of your garden boundary College Rise, Barton Ridge and The Heritage precincts.
If you can help please email hello@sovereignhills.com.au.
