The Hotondo Homes Mid North Coast team has accomplished a major feat, completely revamping their eco-friendly display home in just four weeks.
Welcome to the new-look Icelyn display at 2 York Street, Port Macquarie.
Gone is the grasscrete driveway, navy cladding and aluminium fence surrounding the property which left the home’s north-east facing living zone highly exposed to the outside world.
In their place, a tall white PVC fence shields the property from view before you reach the façade, which is now adorned in white cladding and a stunning stone feature wall which provides added privacy for the new swimming pool and lush resort-style garden.
Combined with the recycled brick driveway, it’s a completely different first impression, and inside the makeover is just as extreme.
“Visitors are impressed by the transformation,” shared New Home Sales Manager Dean Thompson. “We’ve received really positive feedback about the modern architectural elements and stylish décor.”
The moodier navy kitchen has been replaced with a low silica Ibrido Smartstone benchtop (in Calcutta Oro), with elegant oak Laminex feature panelling, white linen cupboards, white tapwear and sink, and appliances.
There are new pendants in the kitchen and entrance, and refreshed interior styling throughout the living area, kitchen, alfresco and bedrooms.
The grey master ensuite tiles have made way for a lighter colour palette, even the cork flooring in the bedrooms and media room has been replaced with plush wool carpet.
“Because the display village is here for another two years, we decided to update the home with new products, styling, trends and colours to showcase a ‘new look’ in a home with the same floorplan layout,” explained Hotondo Homes’ Julianne Petterson.
Something that hasn’t changed is the team’s commitment to eco-friendly building products and design principles.
