Healthy business outlook diagnosed for new town centre

Port Macquarie’s master planned community Sovereign Hills is keen to engage with health and beauty operators interested in providing their services to a growing population in a vibrant new town centre precinct.

Stage One of the $100 million Sovereign Place town centre, located in the heart of this community, will open in just four months in November.

Lewis Land Group (LLG) Head of Development Michael Long is seeking expressions of interest from doctors, dentists, physiotherapists and chiropractors interested in either starting or expanding their business in a state-of-the-art environment in Port Macquarie’s growth corridor.

“There is a growing demand for medical services in the Hastings and we are perfectly positioned midway between Port Macquarie and Wauchope to fulfil this demand,” Mr Long explained.

“With a regional college, childcare centre, more than 1500 residents and counting, and a growing business community in the immediate vicinity to draw on, we are confident this demand will only continue to rise.

“Sovereign Place will also feature ample parking and a Your Discount Chemist, in addition to an exciting Supa IGA and IGA Liquor, hardware offering, restaurants and specialty stores.”

LLG is offering attractive commercial terms to prospective businesses and is also seeking to attract a gym and beauty operator.

Having Pioneered the outdoor shopping experience at Harbour Town Adelaide and Gold Coast, LLG is bringing this successful model to Port Macquarie with the architecturally -designed Sovereign Place.

No stone has been left unturned during the design phase with Sovereign Place to feature locally-sourced timber arbours and natural sandstone, lush landscaping, roof-mounted solar panels, reclaimed water usage and electric car charging stations.

Sovereign Place will grow over time to 25,000+sqm with future stages to include a community centre, entertainment precinct, commercial offices and additional retail spaces.

“With its temperate climate, envious lifestyle and pristine setting, Port Macquarie has the potential to be the health and wellbeing capital of New South Wales,” Mr Long added.

“At Sovereign Hills we are extremely interested in offering these essential services to our community and the surrounding catchment area, and we are heavily invested in ensuring the town centre precinct thrives.”
