Port Macquarie’s Sovereign Hills Display Village will celebrate its first birthday in style on Saturday (12 May) with an evening street party and major prize for one lucky new home builder.
Featuring 16 stunning designs on Sovereign Drive, the display village welcomed 4,000 visitor groups during its first 12 months.
The village’s 12 award-winning builders collectively sold hundreds of new homes throughout the Hastings and surrounding regions during the same period.
For one new home client, the decision to build new will pay off in a big way when the winner of the all-new Mazda CX3 Maxx is drawn during the birthday celebrations at 6pm.
“It’s the added bonus of having a new car in a new driveway,” commented Better Homes and Developments’ Neville Jones.
“It’s a genuine promotion offering a big reward and the odds are really good.”
The Sovereign Hills Display Village street party will get underway at 4:30pm, with visitors encouraged to come and see the home designs in a new light.
Sovereign Drive will be transformed for one night only and attendees of this free event can taste test Cassegrain Wines’ latest drops and Hops and Tales’ beer range, paired with Adam Roberts’ delicious smoked meats, Bago Bluff tasting plates and Baba Lila’s locally handmade chocolates while they’re serenaded by Latin fusion guitarist Mat Brooker.
The successful Mazda draw entrant must be present on the night at 6pm to claim the major prize, otherwise it will be redrawn.
The Sovereign Hills Display Village is the largest in regional New South Wales and since opening in March 2016 has welcomed a steady stream of home builders, home lovers and renovators keen to explore, and replicate, the many design and décor ideas.
Stroud Homes’ Joel Freeman said joining the display village had been a game changer for their business.
“We’ve had excellent visitation through our new display home since opening. So many people want to see and touch the finished product before making their final decision when choosing a new home builder and settling on a design.”
The village is serviced by the Stirling Green Café and the Sovereign Hills Land Sales Centre which are located at the village gateway.
The village’s 1st birthday celebrations are happening between 4:30pm and 7:30pm on Saturday 12 May on Sovereign Drive, Port Macquarie.
