A free workshop designed to help first home buyers get their foot in the door is fast approaching.
Sovereign Hills, in conjunction with the Sovereign Hills Display Village, is hosting a free information night and is giving away $25,000 to help first home buyers achieve their home ownership dream.
The workshop will be held on Thursday 5 July at Panthers Port Macquarie from 6:15pm.
A $1,000 lucky draw prize will also be drawn on the night.
Sovereign Hills Land Sales Manager Luke Moreta will be among the key speakers and said many first home buyers visit the Land Sales Centre at the start of their research mission seeking information about the land purchase and home building process.
“Most people have a general idea about what they want and what they can afford, but not so much about how to achieve it. We’ve designed this workshop to fast track this process and to provide a cash incentive to help some very lucky first home buyers on their way,” shared Luke.
Attendees will also hear from an experienced Hastings home loan specialist who has helped dozens of first home buyers enter the property market, as well as a representative from the Sovereign Hills Display Village who can answer any questions on the spot.
“We’re hoping attendees will learn some very practical ways to save money and to navigate their way through their first home purchase,” added Luke. “New home ownership can be achievable and affordable.”
The Land Sales Centre continues to welcome a steady stream of first home buyers despite the New South Wales Government’s introduction of stamp duty concessions regarding existing dwellings in mid 2017.
“First home buyers represent a large share of our buyer profile and that’s because their dream is to build a ‘new’ home. We offer the most affordable land in Port Macquarie and we have such a diverse range of affordable home and land packages on offer throughout the display village.
“Furthermore, we’re creating a real community environment and a lifestyle at Sovereign Hills. We are Port Macquarie’s only master planned community with amenity, childcare and schooling onsite, and a town centre coming soon.”
More information about the incentives on offer to first home buyers will be revealed at the workshop on 5 July.
